Molly was raised in Pennsylvania. Her first professional life at the age of thirteen in the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. The Arden Theater production of Into the Woods in 2002, she was awarded an award called the Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. Molly reprised the role when Molly performed her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway in 2002. Molly was awarded a Drama League Award for this performance. Molly has also appeared in The Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. She then attended Princeton University and was a member in the Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2008. After that, she went to Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and received a bachelor's degree in the year 2008. Also, she appeared in Disney's College Road Trip, playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly was able to begin her professional career after graduation with Off-Broadway productions which included End Days and The Wonderful Maladys at HBO Pilot. Molly was a part of regional plays like The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in Barrington the Stage Company and the North Shore Music Theatre's 2008 production as well as the Westport Country Playhouse 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank as Anne. Molly is well-known as the character Ali the teenage daughter, in Paranormal Activity 2, a film from 2010, in which Jack Burditt wrote and directed.
