Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is an actor, TV presenter, recording artist and entrepreneur. The award-winning actress has received numerous accolades during her professional career. Her name has been included as well for 8 PMPC Star Awards, two Gawad Urian Awards, as in addition to the Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis has appeared on a variety of TV shows, including Hiram, Kampanerang, (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose 2011, and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013.) she portrayed the iconic Komiks character Dyesebel in the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel. She was also the host of the show It's Showtime the noontime variety show (2009-2020). Anne Curtis is a Filipina Australian actress, model and television host. The award-winning actress has won numerous awards throughout her career including two FAMAS Awards a Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and five PMPC Star Awards for Television. In addition, she was nominated two times for Gawad Urian Awards as well as the eight PMPC Star Awards in the films. Curtis was a part of a range of shows on television, such as Hiram (2004 to in 2005), Maging Sino Dyosa (2005), Green Rose (2011), Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003) and Kampanerang Kuba (2005). In 2014, Curtis portrayed legendary Komiks Dyesebel character on Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Additionally, she was host of the popular variety show It's Showtime from noon (2009-2010) Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith an Australian lawyer. Her father got married Ojales on the 29th of October, 1982. Jasmine her younger sister also performs as an actress. Clare was a cousin of their father's family. She died at just four months old in the year 2007.
