Her birthplace was in Santa Monica, California on 26 November 1986. She is the child of her father Vincenzo and her maternal grandmother Valerie Barba. She was just six when she left her family relocated to Point Pleasant New Jersey. For her schooling, she attended Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. She then attended Catholic University and graduated with an undergraduate degree in architecture. She also began playing the violin from age four, and was referred to as Violin Girl. The name she was given by her name due to her appearances. Also, she taught children in within the community playing the violin. She also sang Free from 1976 in her audition for American Idol's sixth season, at age 19. She was eventually eliminated when she was ranked 16th on American Idol. She has sung several songs such as 2009's "The Christmas song' and The 2010's Out for Blood. She's also been appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as well as other shows on TV.
